A great time!

Filed under: evangelism moments — Tags: — streetpreacher @ 11:45 am

We had such a great time this past weekend. 10 of us went to the Talladega Motor Speedway, to hand out gospel tracts, and to witness to the people that God would have to stop and talk to us! We had everything planned out, or so we thought. Saturday morning, we found that it was raining hard, and by 9:30AM we knew that there was no way we would be going out to the race.
So we did what any Biblical Christian would do, we prayed for God to guide us to where we should go, then we went! We made our way to a shopping mall, about an hour and a half away, and it was packed with people. We split up and started handing out tracts and had some great witnessing encounters. I remember 4 teenage girls, taking the “Million Dollar Bill” gospel tract. These girls said “oh I’m a Christian”, to which I asked, “how did that happen”? They all said ” well I just believe that Jesus saved me”. Which is a very common answer that we hear. So I explained that meer belief is not enough, then I showed them that even the demons “believe” that Jesus is God. They even fear him, but the will never Repent! As I began to take them through the Ten Commandments, they began to cry, one of the girls grabbed her stomach and said ” I think I’m going to throw up”, I almost cried! She was overwhelmed with the guilt of her sin. They confessed that they deserved Hell, and that God would be right, just, and fair, to judge them as guilty sinners, and condemn them.
When I told them what Christ had done for them on the Cross, how he paid their sin debt, they were soooo happy! When I explained what repentence and faith in Christ ALONE! They said they needed to talk to God “right now!” that was wonderful, and I rejoiced in their repentant hearts. But what happened next just blew me away.
About 15 or 20 minutes later, those 4 girls brought their friends, brothers, and sisters up to Mark( fellow evangelist) and I and wanted us to witness to their family. As Mark spoke to them, I helped the girls to pray for their loved ones!

The next day (Sunday) we went to the race, and it was beautiful! We handed out thousands of gospel tracts, and had the honor of witnessing to many, many people!

All glory to God alone, and praise to his majestic name! He guided us, in every step, and brought many people to Himself. We pray for everyone that we spoke to, and pray that the gospel tracts which we handed out will bring many others to Christ!

An amazing opportunity!

Filed under: evangelism moments — streetpreacher @ 8:36 pm

As you have realized by now, if you have read any of my other post, I believe that if you are a Christian, you will be drawn to/ compelled to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone that you can. If you do not witness to the lost, what proof can you offer to another person that you are truly saved? Well for the past few months, I have been giving gospel tracts to a Chinese family who has a Restaraunt close to my house. They know very little English, and I know two words in Chinese. So I’ve been trying, but have been very frusterated because I truly believe that Jesus is God the Son, and He has the right to judge everyone! And if He judges us, based upon the Ten Commandments, we would all be found guilty as liars, thieves, blasphemers, adulterers, murderers, coveters, idol worshippers, haters of God, and dishonoring to our parents! I also believe that God does not desire to judge His Children, so He chose to send His son, Jesus to live a perfect life, suffer and die on a tree (cross) and take upon himself the full wrath of God, His Holy hatred for sin. Jesus died upon that tree, and was buried, then three days later, He rose from the dead, and proved that God had accepted His sacrifice, on our behalf.
Well, thanks to my good friend, Skip Purdy, I found out that LivingWaters has come up with an App. For Iphones called (GM28)
this thing is amazing! I downloaded it, and listened to several people, including Ray Comfort, open air preaching and one to one witnessing. But the best part is that you can read or hear this in many different languages. Which means that I have now been able to share the gospel with a family of people, that I can just barely say “hi” to.
A friend of mine found a Bible and several movies like, “Passion of the Christ”, in Mandrine, so I was able to give them to Chang and his family last Wednsday! He was so happy to get them, and I was happy to have such an amazing opportunity.

Why must we share the gospel.

To answer the question I posted in the header of this post, let me start out with a story of an experience that I had last Friday the 19th at the Bristol Motor Speedway.
Some of my fellow evangelist and I, got together and went over the the race track, and handed out gospel tracts. We were blessed to get into many witnessing conversations the entire weekend.
Well when we arrived on Friday, I started handing “NASCAR Trivia” gospel tracts out. As I was walking down the sidewalk, in front of the race track, I began to hand out a gospel tract called “Name ten Beers”. That particular gospel tract is great for getting into conversations with. I handed the tract to 4 teenagers, 2 couples around 17 and 15 years old. I handed them the tract and said, can you name ten beers? The oldest boy ( we’ll call him Troy) said Hell yes! Then he started naming off as many beers as he could (he named 8). While he was naming the beers off, and cussing every time he messed up, I just stood there and waited for him to finish. When he could not remember any more, I said, you did pretty good, now I’ll ask you the big question! He was excited then, so I asked, can you name The Ten Commandments? He said oh sh*t, I know those. He named Murder, Adultery, Blasphemy, and Steeling. He didn’t know the rest. So I said you did pretty good, now can I ask you another question. He said sure, to which I quickly responded, have you kept the Ten Commandments? He said well no, but we all sin. I then took him through the “Good Test” (you can see a great example of it on YouTube “the good test”). As I was sharing with him, his friends stood there listening intently, and I began to ask them questions as well. The girls were crying, by the end, and as I finished talking to them, I asked them their names and where they were from. They all live in the Bristol area, and I asked them if they go to church anywhere. That’s when they broke my heart! They told me that they all attend churchs in this area, and that this is the first time anyone had ever shared the gospel with them. They told me that if they died right then that they would diserve to be judged and go to Hell. Then they told me that they were going to go and talk to God ” right now”!

What is so sad about this story, is that these kids have been raised up in a church, but they know nothing about Christianity. Oh sure they know cute little stories, but they had no clue why they must Repent, why it is reasonable for God to judge us all! And they did not see Jesus as their greatest need, but as something they just use when it convienient.
But the really terrible thing is, this is not just some random occurance, it is typical, I see this everywhere. I was preaching at a church one time, and asked them ” if I said that God is Holy, what does that mean”? They didn’t know! I then asked ” well if I say God is Righteous, what does that mean”? Several said they both just mean that God is sinless. I preached to a youth group one time, and the first question I asked is ” What is the Biblical definition of Sin”? I then let the group answer for about 10 minutes, and found out that they had no clue.

You see, as Christians, God has commanded us to be “salt and light”, to “study to show ourselves approved unto God”! We are commanded to be a shining beacon, that all the world see’s and knows, that we are pointing them to Jesus Christ. We are commanded to “put off the things of the world”, things like lust, greed, hate, anger, lying, adultery, etc. And to seek to be like Christ. We were commanded to go into all the world, and preach the gospel, to warn everyone we can, about sin, and what it is. To tell everyone that ” it is appointed for man once to die, and after that, the judgement.
But the problem is, those that profess to be Christians, are not living up to the standard. They are compromising the truth of Gods word for comfort, and mediocre religion. And this is to the distruction of those that are lost. Think about it, if you have not repented of your sin (transgression of the Law of God, His Commandments) and placed you complete trust/faith in Jesus Christ, the Bible warns that if you die that without Jesus Christ, you will be judged by God, found guilty, and spend eternity in Hell!
If you are not a Christian, and you have friends who claim to be “Christians”, then why have they not told you this? If this is true, and it is, then how much must a person hate you, to NOT tell you about the danger you are in. Are they scared that they would hurt your feelings, or that you might get mad at them? Or is it that they don’t actually believe that God is a Good Judge! The Bible warns us that God will in no way clear the guilty, and that is because He is a good and just loving Judge. That might not sound loving or good to a person who does not understand justice, so think about this. If a man broke into your house and murdered your entire family, and waited for you to get home, then smiled at you and said look what I did, and let you call the police. The police arrest the man, and take him before a judge, the man confesses, brags even about what he did, then the judge looks at the man and you and says ” I’m a good judge, and because I Love people, I’m going to just let you go free”! How would you feel? I’ll tell you, you would be filled with hate and anger against the judge, you would scream and shout to everyone about the corrupt judge that did not uphold the law. You see we demand that the judges do right, and God is the best and greatest judge, He is truthful, honest and Holy, and He says that He WILL do right. If we violate Gods Laws, it is right that we must pay the fine, and that fine is death and Hell, seperated from God and allthe good things thatHe has provided.

As a true Christian, I am a follower of Jesus Christ, a disciple. And as a disciple, I must obey His commands. Commands like, love your neighbor as yourself, love one another, do not steal, commit adultery, lie, hate, and in Matthew 28: 18-20, Jesus comanded all Christians to go into every part of the earth and preach the gospel to those that are lost, to teach them to obey His commands. Jesus said He came to seek and save the lost, to save them (you) from the wrath of God. In other words, you broke Gods law and Jesus came to pay your fine, to be your Propitiation- that means that Jesus stands in you place to pay for you violation of Gods law. Jesus is God the Son, and He is the only one that could ever pay for your fine. No ammount of good thing that you could do would balance out your debt, or make up for it. Just like that hypothetical murder, you are guilty, and if he could not atone for his crime, by being nice, helping little old ladies across the street, or just by being really sorry. Then How could we expect that God would just look past our sin, just because we try to be good enough!

But there is a greater reason to share the gospel than that! You see God is the creator of all life, He is Loving kind and tender towards His children. He cares for us, and wants to reveal Himself to us. And because of sin, we are seperated from Him, but This is love in that while we were yet in our sin, Christ died for us! It pleased God to send Jesus His only Son to die for our salvation, so that we might be declared justified, innocent, and right before God. And we get the honor and privilage to glorify God for all the great things that He has done! Because He diserved to be Glorified, praised and worshiped for both who He is and what He has done!

Now the question is, Have you repented of your sin, and trusted in Jesus Christ alone to save you. Have you sought to glorify God with your life? Think about it, and watch the video! \"The Good Test\"

How beautiful are the feet!

Filed under: Christian Events — streetpreacher @ 9:05 pm

On Thursday, Donnie, Robert, and Skip came to Bristol Tn. I met Skip at my house and then we went to the airport to get Donnie, and Robert. We all came back to my house, and enjoyed a moment of fellowship. Then I took them on a tour of Bristol Tn, and we prayed over the Bristol Motor Speedway. You might be wondering who these guys are, well they are just your average Biblical Christians, doing what God has called them to do. They preach the gospel of Christ as they go, that is everywhere they go! Donnie, Robert and Skip all agreed to come to Bristol and train as many as possible in Biblical Evangelism ( that is Biblical witnessing, to the world). We held the conference at North Bristol Baptist Church,  in Bristol Va. on Friday, it was hosted by Pastor Kenny Bolling. We started the conference  with great enthusazim and it only got better, I was busy getting permits for sound at the Highlands Festival, and Donnie, Skip and Robert were training away. The partisipants had a great time and were encouraged to expand their faith and zeal for witnessing. Then on Saturday, eight of us went to the Festival in Abingdon, Va. and we began handing out tracts, and witnessing to whomever the Lord allowed, we found a good place to begin witnessing, open air preaching, and tract distribution. When we started preaching, many people that were entering the tent area would listen as they were walking past some stopped and listened, and a few reporters even spoke with some of us. We saw three people open air preach for the first time, and they were forever changed by what God had done to them while they were there. One man started crying as he came walking up to me, all he could say was ” I did it!, Praise God, He let me preach”. I had the privilage to witnes one -to- one with many people. My son(12) was even there, handing out tracts and witnessing to anyone that he could. I preached on “Freedom”, which is what God gives you, in Christ! We watched Hanna  (12) show a level of  grace, and compassion that could rival most anyone! Lisa was a witnessing machine, and Tony is totally on fire for God.

We met up with some great police officers, that protected us from potential troublemakers, and even asked us if anyone was bothering us(wow). We did not get permits for sound, but that didn’t stop us from witnessing and sharing the Law and the Gospel. Everyone had a great time, and Pastor Kenny got   up and open-aired, and  Man, he did great!

On Sunday, we were asked to preach in the venders tent service and Donnie did a great job! After that we got rained out, but we were allowed to share the law and the gospel with a police officer and a few others. All in all, we had a great time, and the conference attendees loved it.  I pray that they will never be luke- warm again, and will to grow in boldness, patience, meekness, and zeal. Until the whole Earth hears the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Who’s Accountable for Accountability

If your reading this post, most likely you would call yourself a “Christian”, and at least once or twice a year you go to church. Sometimes you even take the time to grace God with a prayer, but usually when you need something from Him. Then there are those of you that attend church every time the doors are open, I mean you are faithful and true. You have your KJV study Bible in one hand, the grande-est cup of half calf mocha latte, with sprinkles from Starbucks in the other hand. Your buttoned down and you have all your theological ducks in a row. Or do you?
I have preached at many churches around Tn. And Virginia, and without exception, I have found that most people, who claim to be Christians, have no clue about and do not care about Biblical Accountability.
Most people, even Christians, believe that they are an island to themselves and do not want anyone holding them accountable for their actions. For the rest of the world, this might be understandable. But, when a person claims to be a Christian, they are taking the banner of Jesus Christ and lifting it in the air, saying to all the world ” look at me, I’m following Christ”!
This is a very important issue that I would like to address here.

So what is Biblical Accountability? Let’s look together, and see what God says, in His word about the issue.
In the book of Galatians, chapter 6 vss 1 to 5
1 Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. 3 For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5 For each one shall bear his own load.
The Apostle Paul was writing to a church in the Galatian province. He was exhorting the to live as Christians, and laying out for them as to What they should be doing, especially as it relates to fellowship with other believers in the body of Christ. Paul first says, if you see someone, overtaken in a fault (or sin). Stop there! and look at the importance of what he is saying to them and to us.
Paul is saying that in your daily lives, If you happen to see a fellow believer in error, which includes sin, but not limited to sin. Then you should go to them with great concern for their well being, their best interest at heart. This is NOT a license to play little Mr/Mrs. Busy body and try to dig up every little piece of dirt on everyone you can. Nor is this giving permission to organize the local hen session at the local Denny’s, to go over all the Godly gossip, that you’ve managed to pick up. This is a call for you to love your neighbor as you already love yourselves.
You who are spiritual, this is a call for you to examine yourselves. To look at your motive for desiring to talk to your brother or sister. It is a call for you to examine your own heart, to make sure that there is no sin in your own life, or else you play the hipocrate! It a call for you to look back and see if you are truly saved or are playing church. It’s a call for us to make sure that we are clean in the sight of God.
Paul continues- restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. After you have examined yourself, and you know that your motive is that of love. You are to go to that person, with gentleness, not in anger or judgementally. And point out their error, it could be that they didn’t know that they were in error. It could be that they need help to overcome this error, and you might be able to become their accountability partner, encouraging them to progress in holiness.
this is what, Bearing one another burdens is all about, the care and love that we have for one another. Encouraging them, praying for them, being in their lives, as a friend. And in doing this you will be fulfilling the Law of Christ, loving your neighbor as yourself.
For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5 For each one shall bear his own load.
This last part is a warning to everyone, to be careful to maintain a humble spirit, and not of look down on your fellow believers, because of your own perception of your greatness, or to get a big head and think your something because everybody love you. No matter how good your are, you will give an answer to God for how you lived, what you did, or didn’t do! So walk humbly.

I hope this help everyone in some way to see that if you are a Christian, it should be your desire to be held to the Biblical standard. Feel free to leave any questions you have and I’ll try to answer them a soon as possible.

Internet good or bad?

Filed under: General — streetpreacher @ 11:08 pm

In this day and age with all the chaos and and problems in the world , it is important to have up to the minute news, instant communications, and to be able to let your friends and loved ones know what’s going on. With the use of a computer and Internet service, I can talk to most anyone in the world instantly. But with all this good innovation, there has been an increase In the private use of the Internet to explore even the most base and vile imaginations of the human mind. There is everything from the porn industry that floods our minds with any type of sexual image that you can imagine, to fantasy writers that write explicite stories about rape incest, and anything else they can think of.
The Internet culture has been filled with pornography since the day of the first computer image, and that is a trend that is only going to increase. But that is not all that we can find on the Internet, not by a long shot, if your into the occult, you can find other like minded people in your area to contact. If your a terrorist, you have no shortage of training material available to you, and you can hear plenty of messages from your fellow terrorist, all at the click of a button. If you have been indoctrinated with hate, you can find the Zionest party, the KKK, and the White Supremest party, just using the mouse in your hand.
You can find out the latest theory for UFO’s, how to bake a cake, or even the newest movie releases and reviews. All in just a matter of a few moments of your time. Why there’s even websites to guide you to the best religion for you and even directions to the local church, mosque, or temple of your choice. By the way you can even visit their websites, most of which have downloaded sermons, of their latest a greatest sermons. There are many positive aspects to the www. Such as the use of the Internet to preach the gospel in all it truth, learning about history, without the revisionest imput, etc.
All this leads me to ask one question, is the Internet good or bad?

I would like to hear your thoughts, and that of your friends, so please discuss this with your friends and let me know what you think.

Race day’s in Atlanta

Filed under: evangelism moments — streetpreacher @ 12:55 am

We had a great time in Atlanta this weekend, we had great fellowship and worship times, ate a lot of Chick-fil-a. And witnessed to a lot of people. God blessed us with enough people to witness to about one fourth of the people that showed up there, and so that’s what we did. We helped out at the God Speaks trailer, that was fun. But the real fun is as always, making God famous in His land ( It’s all His land). We witnessed to a lot of people and I even got some great interviews this time, which I will download for you to see at www.evangelism-alliance.com.we are also on youtube at evangelism alliance. The wonderful news was that Bill Carpenter, with Motor Racing Outreach wnats us to come to as may races as we can afford to come to.

First- we are praising God for His wonderful provision.

Second- we are expecting that He will open the doors up that He wants us to enter.

Third- we are asking for your prayer and support, and even your participation.

We are praying that God will put us in contact with churches, pastors, and Christians that are located around the race tracts, football, baseball, and soccor stadiums and anywhere that there are groups of lost people. And that He will open the doors so that we can train local teams in those areas in Biblical Evangelism. So that we can then come to their outreach event and help them to witness to the lost. We are praying for laborers for the harvest, and we are desiring to train them as well.  (Those four lines are free, I won’t charge you for them)

Back to the races- We had a great time, handed out thousands of tracts, and met a lot of people that believed that they would go to heaven because they said ” I’m sorry God” and could do “good works” to get to heaven. A few people didn’t care for the truth, but most everyone was grateful for that TRUTH! We had a great time, and can’t wait for the next one.

By the way: The next race is on Sept. 27th at the Dover Speedway, If you are interested in coming, and have been trained in Biblical Evangelism, just e-mail me and we can talk. If you have not been trained, get with your church, or group, preferably both, let me know, and we will come to your church and train all of you, so that you and your church can start your own team to go out into your own community and share the whole gospel.

what is evangelism?

Filed under: Christian Events — streetpreacher @ 3:25 pm

I sat there with expectation as I listened to a man sharing with a group of people about how we were all going to be sharing the love of Jesus with a bunch of people. He said that we share Jesus’ love by serving people, we meet them at the point of their need, we love them the way that Jesus did. I waited for more, I desperately wanted to hear how this man would interpret the love of Jesus. For most of my life, I thought that I was a “Christian”, the only problem was, I never had any desire to read God’s word, no desire to see my “lost” friends or family saved. I didn’t even like to go to church.

That was before I truly met the Savior, you see I played the game, I asked Jesus into my heart and got a “get out of hell free card”. But there was a  problem that I had to face on January 19Th 2001. And that problem was, that I had never seen myself a being truly wretched, God hating, and absolutely depraved. I never noticed that I was a sin loving sinner, No one had ever told me! I was raised in church, lived as a “Good” person. Sure I lusted after women constantly, sure I had sex outside of marriage, sure I took the Lord’s name in vain daily. Sure I dishonored my parents, drank like a fish, partied all the time. But I was a “good Christian,” I said the prayer remember!!

Or so I thought, On January 19Th, 2001, I was confronted by God’s Holy Spirit, He opened me up like a book, He made me look at my sin for the first time, as it really was. He made me see that I hated God, I hated His rules, His love, His grace, His long suffering, and His Son! I really was evil, and I deserved Hell. The funny thing is, I wasn’t even looking for Him, and I didn’t care if I saw Him. BUT!!!!!! He chose me, He found me, He convicted me, He caused me to Repent, He washed me, He made me clean in His site. Then He called me to be used for His purposes. I had no part in it, and receive no Glory in it. All that belongs to Him, no matter the cost, or the price, He is worth IT ALL. This coming from a man who until a relatively few years ago, hated God!

Back to the meeting, as I sat there waiting to hear how this man interpreted sharing the love of Jesus, I became saddened to hear that he believed that Jesus wanted us to go out and help people, but only witness to someone if they ask you to. Helping people is great but that is not the love of Jesus. Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost, He came to pay the price for His elect, to buy them out of the slave market, not because of our value to Him. But because of the great Love that He had and wished to display. He saved us for His glory, not ours!

Every year 150,000 plus people die, most of them die without ever hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and scripture tells us that it is appointed for man once to die, but after that comes the judgement. Jesus commanded us in Mark 15-16 to go into all the world and preach the gospel. Jesus told us that He would send the Holy Spirit to convict the World of sin, and of righteousness, and of the judgement to come. If you believe that these things are true, then I will ask the same question an Atheist asked, If you really believe that God is real, Jesus is Lord and Judgment is coming, then how much must you hate the lost men and women in the world, if you don’t tell them.

Evangelism is only evangelism, if the goal is to glorify God, by being obedient to His Son. It is only evangelism if you preach the word, in truth and in love. It is not evangelism, if you do good deeds, and smile intently, and try to work up all the “Christian” enthusiasm that you can, hoping that a lost man will see it and want it. YOU must tell that lost man about his sin, God’s righteousness, and Jesus’ coming to judge the world in righteousness. Paul said, I had not known sin but by the law. That law he is referring to, is the law of God. So ask yourself have you ever lied, stolen, murdered or hated, committed adultery or even lusted? Have you ever taken God’s name in vain, dishonored your parents, or placed anything before God? If you have broken just one of God’s laws, you are guilty, and you deserve Hell. But the truth is, if you are honest, you have broken all of God’s commandments, The Bible tell us, there is none righteous, no not one, there is none that seek after God. But the good news is that Jesus paid your fine in His life’s blood. You broke the law, but Jesus paid your fine, He commands every man to Repent of their sin and Believe that He alone can save you from the wrath of God.

Now you know what evangelism is! Now go do it!!

This coming darkness!

Filed under: Christian Events — streetpreacher @ 1:33 am

I love to witness to people as often as the Lord will permit me to. I had the honor of talking to 5 teenagers on Wednesday, about their standing befor God. As always, I took them through the law of the Lord, then reasoned with them about the coming judgment. Finally I gave them the good news of the gospel. this same event is taking place all over the world many times on a daily basis. I love to see what happens to a person, when they see their sin for the first time, and tell them about the freedom that is available to them, it is amazing what The Holy Spirit does in those times. But it seems as if these days, more than every, there is coming a dark hatred and intollerance against the Truth of the Gospel. everywhere we look we are seeing more and more the seeds of rebellion and anamosity sprouting and beginning to grow. When we look at this world, we see people that truly despise the Gospel of Christ, and those that would seek to tell them about their need for salvation.

Charles Spurgeon said ” For which of His good works, for which of His generous words, for which of His holy deeds will they fasten His hands to the wood, and His feet to the tree? With unreasonable hatred, with senseless cruelty, they only answer to the question of Pilate, “Why what evil has he done?” Let Him be crucified! Let Him be crucified! The true reason for their hate, no doubt, lay in the natural hatred of all men to perfect goodness. Man feels that the presence of goodness is a silent witness against his own sin. and therefore he longs to get rid of it. To be too holy in the judgment of men is a great crime, for it rebukes their sin. If the holy man has not the power of words, yet his life is one loud witness-bearing for God against the sin of his creatures.”

A ministry partner was recently arrested for handing out gospel tracts, and another was threatened with arrest, because he and another evangelist were open air preaching. These men had the right to be there, under the constitution. But that won’t stop most people from hating what you do to the point that you are persecuted. Jesus said that this would happen, and it is happening. Hate crimes legislation is now being forced through, for no other reason than to silence any opposition to same sex marriage. Eventually this country will declare Christians as enemies, but not just any Christians. I’m talking about those Bible thumpers, that believe in absolute truth. I’m talking about the ones that stand upon sound Biblical principals of right and wrong, those that dare to call out sin by name. Those that will not compromise, not in there own lives, or in the lives of others. The type of Christians that hate the sin that they use to love.

This should come as no surprise to us, because we were told that it would happen, or did you forget Romans 1: 16-32

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

We know that men love themselves, and hate God. And in the light of that knowledge, I implore you to rejoice, praise God that He has seen fit to allow you the privilage to stand for the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Set your heart on the Lord, do not fear what men can do to you. As I tell my friends, if they put me in prison, praise God, there a lost people there also.
